Nothing looks worse than a conservatory roof that is covered in dirt and has moss and algae growth, it reduces the light getting through to your living space and ruins the look of your beautiful conservatory. Conservatory roofs can be difficult to reach and are not always easy to clean. Unlike normal windows that are vertical, conservatory roofs are on a shallow incline so water and dirt do not drain as quickly and can be left behind, gradually building up over time and giving moss and algae a base to start growing. Fortunately, The Window People can offer a solution – self cleaning glass. Self-cleaning glass contains a special coating that quickly repels water so that it dries quickly and doesn’t leave marks, in addition the coating also reacts with UV rays to loosen and break down any organic particles that start to form on the glass. Our Self Cleaning Glass system will dramatically reduce the build-up of dirt on your conservatory roof and while it will not completely remove the need to clean your roof, it will reduce the frequency of cleaning significantly.

Lee and his team did a great job replacing three windows for us. They completed the work to a very high standard and left everywhere tidy and clean. Lee was very helpful with advice we needed. I have already recommended them to a neighbour, and we would definitely use them again.
Don’t think about using The Window People just use them! Lee was a no pressure sales dude and the two guys that fit the windows were friendly and just got on with fitting them to a high standard! We couldn’t recommend them enough!! Thank you all!
I cannot praise highly enough Lee and his team for a great product and service. From ordering to fitting the turnaround time was fantastic. (I appreciated this as mine was a bit of a rush job). On the day Lees fitters were very polite and left absolutely no mess at all. I am thrilled with the quality of my door, and I will be using you again and won’t hesitate in recommending you.
Had 8 new windows and two doors replaced by Lee and his team. Excellent value for money and without any pressure to buy there and then. Must admit some snags along the way with the fitting, but Lee bent over backwards to solve any problems and work with us. Highly delighted with the end result and would recommend them to anyone. Huge thank you to Lee and the team.
